Decision time?

CONCERNS can lead to a Problem can lead to a Conflict

THIS Fellow has 3 choices on how to  respond:

Phase I

Treat them the SAME or Worse

Phase II

Treat them BETTER than They Treat You

Phase III

Do Nothing

THE COMMON RESULTS ARE:

I'm MAD!
Re-active
I'm Happy
Pro-active
I'm SAD
Non-active

WHICH WAY DO YOU TYPICAL RESPOND TO CONFLICT?

Most people say, Phase I (the Attack Phase) which usually leads them to more trouble.  This is the world's golden rule that simply says. "I'll give you just what you gave me."  Then the "PEOPLE WARS" start.

Or people duck and hide in the Phase III (the Escape Phase).
The conflict just brews for awhile to later rise up and bite you again , but now it's bigger.

AH HA!  No wonder there is so much conflict in the world!

Try the balanced pro-active phase II approach to prevent and resolve conflict, which really is the Golden Rule.

Matthew 7:12 "So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you ...."  NIV.

Treat others better - just like you would want them to treat you.

Interesting enough .... BUT WOW!
These are the SAME 3 Phases that are used when evaluating and monitoring the health of a pasture plant communities.

Phase III = "Land Idle-itis"
(No disturbances occurring = Over-rested land long-term)

Phase II = Land reaching full Potential
(Balanced use and rest = Healthy Land)

Phase I = Stressed from too many disturbances
(Too many disturbances = Over-grazed Land)

Why the similarities in the 3 Phases between the way people respond to conflict and the 3 ways to determine land health?

Answer: These are Nature's Principles & Nature's Laws.
